Call Chef Jekyll’s Sailing Destin at 850.200.7766 to check availability and make a reservationWe accept cash, all major credit cards and Venmo.  Reservations require a 50% deposit and a credit card or Venmo on file. Please bring your ID and method of payment at the time of the cruise.  A gratuity is customary for boating charters, at your discretion of course. Please arrive on time or early so we can complete required briefings and paperwork before we sail.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel up to at least 48 hours before the charter date and receive a refund of the deposit, minus credit card fees for both transactions (approx. 7.5%). Customers may make changes to the reservation without any fees as long as it’s outside the 48-hour cancellation period. If weather or sea states are unfavorable, you may elect to reschedule the trip for a later time/date, or we will issue the refund. No-shows will not be refunded. Reschedules are permitted if the captain determines conditions and forecasts are unsuitable for a safe charter.  The captain is the final authority on whether it is safe to complete the cruise.  If the captain says we don’t go, then we won’t go.  If the captain says we must return early for safety or passenger comfort, then we will do so.  If you bribe the captain with gold or cryptocurrency, we may stay out longer!

Other Info / Answers to Frequently-Asked-Questions

S/V Little Miss Magic is a 2023 Dufour 390 (39 ft) single-hull sailboat.  She has a bridge clearance of 62 ft, draws 5.75 ft of water, and has a 13.5 ft beam.  She boasts 2 large berths, a galley, and a spacious restroom with an electric head and separate walk-in shower.

Charters depart from the end of the East Dock, beside The Edge restaurant in Downtown Destin. Don’t worry if you arrive very early and the boat is not there.  We share the dock with other boat charter companies.  We will be there at or before the appointed time.

Our Sunset Charcuterie and Champagne Brunch tours will have select, high-end hors d’oeuvres included in the price of the charter.  Bring your own wine, beer, and champagne to enjoy, until we can obtain a license to provide alcohol.

We supply a cooler with ice and bottled water, so you can bring whatever else you want to drink. There is a head (restroom) on board; you will be instructed in its use.  The boat also has a stereo system with Bluetooth audio so you can request to listen to your favorite music; the captain will control the audio volume. There is plenty of dry storage below the deck as well.

All safety equipment will be on-board including VHF radio, life preservers for adults and children, fire extinguishers, emergency flares, first-aid kit, and blankets. Children under seven must always wear a flotation device while aboard the vessel.

If you wear a hat or glasses, be sure to have a hat-keeper and croaky-type retention devices so you don’t lose those expensive items.  We will not be able to retrieve any personal items that go overboard.

Reservations are good for up to six guests.  There will be a captain and at least one mate aboard to assist with the operation of the vessel and food/drink service.

Smoking is not permitted on Little Miss Magic.  Drinking is permitted; please be responsible when using alcohol to ensure everyone’s enjoyment.  The captain may return to port to discharge any unruly passengers, with no refund.

Personal pets are not allowed on board; however, service animals, with proper documentation, are allowed. Customers will provide such documentation to the captain for inspection; the customer must provide a life vest for the service animal.

Street shoes must be removed before boarding.  Feel free to bring clean sandals, flip flops, or boat shoes with non-marking soles, if possible.  Closed-toe shoes are best, as there is a lot of equipment on deck. Bare feet are okay, but the deck can be hot or slippery at times.

A few suggested items to bring for your trip: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen (lotion only, NO SPRAY SUNSCREEN or TANNING OILS onboard!), any additional snacks or drinks you would like to have on the trip, a light jacket for the evenings or cooler months.

Dolphin sightings are not guaranteed but are very likely to happen, so keep your eyes peeled!
