Parking along the Destin Harbor Boardwalk is highly sought-after and fiercely protected. You have two solid parking options unless you want to be towed. Please do not park down near the harbor boardwalk area in parking slots that are designated for restaurants or bars. You WILL be towed, I promise. It’s expensive and might ruin your lovely sailing experience if you receive a parking fine of $85.00.

Option 1.

Park at the City of Destin Public Parking Lot at the corner of Marler St. and Harbor Blvd (US Hwy 98) near the Emerald Grande. This option is $15.00 for all-day parking unless you have a current City of Destin Parking Pass, then you can park in any City of Destin Parking Lot for free. From this parking lot, you will have to cross the busy highway (please, PLEASE use a pedestrian crosswalk, preferably one with a traffic signal.) From this corner, look across Hwy 98. The photo below shows the driveway down to the harbor where East Dock is located

Park at Heron Harbor, 314 Harbor Blvd. This parking lot is managed by Premium Parking, lot 2882, and the current fee is $10.00 to park all day. If you do not pay by camera QR-code, Text Pay, or on their free app, you WILL receive a parking fine of $85.00. Not worth it! From Heron Harbor, proceed down the hill to the harbor front boardwalk and go to the right (west). East Dock is only about 100 feet away.

Where to go to Embark and Disembark from Little Miss Magic (East Dock)
Proceed to The Edge Restaurant, where you will see a large sign for East Dock (beside Beignets and Brews Café). Walk to the very end of the dock and Little Miss Magic will pick you up at the agreed-upon time. Please be on time, as several yacht tours use this dock for embarkation. Feel free to arrive early to enjoy the boardwalk and patronize one of the nearby bars and restaurants. Many of them will validate your Heron Harbor parking pass if you make a food or beverage purchase. It’s like getting a free drink! See you soon!
